Dups Takes a Stand Against Abuse

DupsYesterday, Former EAv CEO, Duleepa Wijayawardhana, aka (e)Dups, posted a message in the Empire Avenue Leaders discussion group, putting those who violate the EAv Terms of Service on notice.

He wrote, “Over my tenure as CEO, I was very lenient on many people… I have come to realize, looking back, that perhaps I was too lenient.”

He continued to single out 3 specific violates that would result in banning the offender.

PendapaloozaThis weekend, the 16th installment of the [X]Pendapalooza buying carnival will take place.

XP16 will start at 3 p.m. Eastern on Friday August 15, 2014, and run for a full 48 hours ending at 3 p.m. Eastern on Sunday August 17, 2014.

EAv Launches Affiliate Program. Is It Worth It?

eav-affiliate-programEarlier today Empire Avenue announced the start of the beta phase of a new affiliate program. The program pays affiliates an 8% commission on vees, eaves and upgrades.

However, it does not pay commissions on premium accounts and it does not pay any commission on purchases made more than 3 months after the referred user signs up.

Is it worth becoming an affiliate?

Pie 21 & the New Pie Rules

eav-pie-2100Empire Avenue has released the next Pie upgrade – Pie 21, which enables users to invest up to 2100 shares of other users (2200 with the dessert upgrade, 2300 with even more dessert).  There have also been some changes in the rules for buying pie.

The Pie 21 upgrade is only available for cash – currently $42.50, and will go up to the regular price of $50 when EAv’s holiday sale ends December 21.  Meanwhile, pie 20 can now be purchased with eaves.

EAv Releases Pie 20. Doubles the Price!

eav-pie-2000Just 13 days after the release of the Pie 19 upgrade, Empire Avenue has made the Pie 20 upgrade available in the shop, but it’ll cost you $50.  That’s twice the price of previous pie upgrades.  There are also no discounts being offered to users with premium accounts.

As with the last couple releases of pie upgrades, EAv has now made the Pie 19 upgrade available for eaves.

Could these changes bite EAv in the butt?

EAv Lauches V… For Big Profits!

eav-vees-giftcardsAfter weeks of anticipation, Empire Avenue has finally rolled out their new virtual currency – Vs – which can be purchased in the shop, given as mission rewards and redeemed for gift cards.

Currently, Starbucks, Amazon and Crate & Barrel gift cards can be purchase in the shop – a $10 gift card for 1300v, which puts their value to the user at 0.77 cents U.S.

What may shock some is the dramatically higher cost to purchase Vs!
