Hi EAvers. For a variety of reasons I’ve decided to experiment with a new format for the daily recommendations. So today 16 of the 73 new users from yesterday are on one list with more detailed information.
Recently the number of new users each day has been lower and the number of people investing in new users has been higher. The result has been higher share prices after one day and lower yields. As a result fewer new users have been making the recommendation lists each day.
Additionally, you and I may have different opinions on whether a new user is a good investment or not. So, rather than make that decision for you, I’ve decided provide a list of all the new users from yesterday that have a dividend greater than 0.15 and show for each their dividend, share price, change in share price and yield (dividend / share price). This way you can quickly review best new users and decide for yourself the best investments for you. So, without further ado…

What do you think of the new format and data?
If you find these recommendations helpful, I’d appreciate it if you’d click the “like” button at the bottom of this post. I’m doing an experiment to see if likes on WordPress blog posts increases the WordPress network score and dividends. Have a great day investing in others!

Cool, with the new format you can tell way better who to buy. In my eyes an improvement, but I’d sort them within the list from best to worth from the beginning. Thanks Paul!

Jakob, thanks for the feedback. The list is sorted by dividend, so when you say you’d sort them by best to worst, by what field would you prefer the list be sorted?

Thanks Paul, that looks like a lot of work you have put into this.

Hey Steven, believe it or not, it’s actually less work. All of this data is gathered and calculated by a script I created. Previously I had to look at every one of these profiles to see if they had a portfolio to qualify for the primary list and then make a subjective judgement about which users to put on the secondary list. If I continue with this new format it will probably save me 15-30 minutes a day depending on the number of new users.

I would says this, I liked how you somewhat “sorted” them. Perhaps a score of some sort (stars or 1-5, that would be very helpful as well). Thanks for all you do!

Thanks Anthony. I appreciate the feedback. They are sorted by dividend, but that’s probably not clear because its the 3rd column of the 4.

It’s too bad the number of new players has fallen. The new format is good for the experienced players. Not sure it will be as helpful to newer players. Thanks for all of your contributions Paul.

Thanks Dana. I think I may simplify it a bit more by eliminating the + / – column, putting the dividend column right after the ticker (since it’s sorted by dividend) and rounding the dividend to 2 decimal places.

Paul, I love the new format…I find it very helpful! As a fairly new player it makes it easy to find new people to invest in (that I can afford) and I can watch how they progress in comparison to how and what Im doing. Thanks again for all your help. ~k

One thing I would say Paul is make the links target=”_blank” so users don’t have to right click to open in new tab or hit the back button all the time, apart from that I love it 🙂

Hay Paul It looks great but , dont see the point of it when we just need the the names of who to invest in seems like your going to too much effort.
Try using this so noblody leaves your website when they click on some ones name , it will open the anchor text link on a new window

Looks very good Paul! Only the data from LEECRUZ is not completly correct regarding his +/- I think!

Thanks for reblogging this post, and you’re right about LEECRUZ. I’m not sure how useful the +/- is anyway, so I think I’m going to eliminate the entire column tomorrow.
