Here’s an EA thought… Sometimes people invest heavily in you and don’t have the dividends worth buying back in them. Is there a way to better encourage them to improve their dividends? Maybe a commission penalty on their buys?

Michael, thanks for the comment. Personally, I think the fact that users have different dividends, yields and ideas on buying back is what makes developing an investment strategy interesting. You have to decide between investing purely for yield, investing in everyone who invests in you, some hybrid of the two, or something completely different that reflects your goals for using EAv.

The foremost thing to remember is that it is your portfolio, and no one else’s. I also struggle with that decision about purchasing back, as dividends can spent, but growth can only be accessed by cashing in.

Thanks Paul…btw I also disagree with Michael. His idea makes EA simply a math problem. The way EAv is now, I invest in Pirillo & others for big divs expecting no buy backs. I invest in new players for growth with little expectation of divs or buy backs. I invest in folks at a similar share price to mine with a portfolio/shareholder ratio that allows me to predict that they will buy back. It is an interesting and tricky mix…fun.

Thanks Harold. That’s my perspective too, but I always appreciate it when people voice new ideas.
