Good morning and Happy Earth Day! Today we’ve got 7 on the main recommendation list and 4 more on the secondary list.
Here’s my list of the top new EAv players from the last 24 hours (in alphabetical order):
Here are some new players that didn’t quite make the primarily list, but are close enough that I recommend giving them a try (in alphabetical order):
If you find these recommendations helpful, I’d appreciate it if you’d click the “like” button at the bottom of this post. I’m doing an experiment to see if likes on WordPress blog posts increases the WordPress network score and dividends. Have a great day investing in others! – Paul (e)PDSTEIN To make the primarily list of the top new stocks, a stock must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- ROI > 1.0 (ROI is dividend per share divided by stock price)
- Dividend of at least 0.20e/share
- The player has bought shares in other stocks
- The player has connected at least 1 social network to EAv

You’re welcome, Tommi. My suggestion would be to invest a little in those who invest in you and join some communities like http://ow.ly/8nZ4I, http://ow.ly/8nZ6I and http://ow.ly/8nZ8R where you can connect with people, read about tips and ask questions.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the daily recommendations. I’m sure it is much appreciated by all EAvers. I’ve been following it for a while now & I don’t know how its calculated exactly, but I’ve noticed that the primary list is missing better starters. A quick example would be to take a look at (e)AIME (who is on the secondary list) clearly had a much better start than (e)AKASHDGM (who is on the primary list). How could this be? Plus there are others who joined yesterday who also had better starts than the other tickers on the primary list. I’ve been noticing this for the past 2 weeks. Currently I’m making my purchasing decisions with my own research & it’s paid off pretty well.

Hi Tareq, thanks for the comment. The criteria for making the primary list is at the bottom of the recommendations post each day. The reason (e)AIME didn’t make the primary list is because at the time the list was published her share price was 38.65e and her dividend 0.31e/share. That means her yield (sometimes referred to as ROI) was 0.31e / 38.65 = 0.81%. 1% is the minimum to make the main list.
When I first started publishing daily recommendations, there was just one list (the main list). The reason I added a second list was to include stocks like (e)AIME else who didn’t make the strict criteria of the first list but I think is worth investing in. I don’t look at the stocks on the primary list as being necessarily better than those on the secondary; I think of everyone on both lists as being worthwhile investments.

Ok, got it now. The yield can be tricky. Thanks for the clarification Paul. 🙂

Thank you Paul, great recommendations. I have to cherry pick based upon availability. Mostly I am investing in my own portfolio and new starters which I can afford. Have a peaceful Earthday.
